Rachel Petro is an Associate at Roth Jackson and an experienced litigation attorney whose practice focuses on employment and commercial litigation.

Ms. Petro has handled a wide range of employment-related disputes, including claims involving race, age, sex, disability, equal pay, wages, wrongful termination, and whistleblower protections, in both individual actions and class and collective actions. She has also assisted employers with drafting manuals and handbooks, developing internal policies, and conducting workplace investigations.

Before joining the firm, Ms. Petro represented plaintiffs in employment matters against private and public sector employers. She also served with the U.S. Department of Commerce, where she litigated employment and whistleblower claims and provided advice and counsel on employment-related investigations, policies, and compliance matters. This broad perspective helps her anticipate issues, evaluate risk from multiple angles, and develop practical, effective defense strategies for her clients.

Ms. Petro also has significant experience protecting businesses’ interests and enforcing creditors’ rights in court. Her commercial litigation work includes representing clients in disputes involving contract enforcement, debt collection, and related business matters, with a focus on efficient, results-oriented advocacy.
