Premium Processing Fees Increasing in February

Starting February 26, 2024, USCIS will require higher premium processing fees. For most categories, the fee will increase to $2,805, from its current $2,500.

– R-1 (temporary religious workers) and H-2B (temporary seasonal workers) will increase to $1,685 (from the current $1,500)

– Eligible Form I-539 applicants will pay $1,965 instead of the current $1,750. This includes F-1, F-2, M-1, M-2, J-1, J-2, E-1, E-2, E-3, L-2, H-4, O-3, P-4, and R-2 classifications.

– Students eligible for premium processing of their Optional Practical Training will have to pay $1,685 instead of the current $1,500.

This fee increase does not change categories of eligibility for premium processing, nor does it change the processing times. For a full list of eligible premium processing categories, visit How Do I Request Premium Processing?
